So I have a .223 supressed AR with a Adams Arms 16" barrel piston upper and a magpul UBR stock with the carbine length buffer tube. I want to get a heavier buffer for my eventual addition of a grendel upper. Will the heavier buffer cause any issues with the pistion upper and the supressor? May be a dumb question but, I was always told that the only dumb questions are the ones that don't get asked. Thanks

I have a registered M-16 lower that I installed on a 16" Adam Arms gas system that had bolt bounce malfunctions. I installed a H-1 buffer from Bravo Company and it has run flawlessly ever since. When I use my Yankee Hill suppressor I have to select the high position on the gas block to run reliably. I use the H-1 buffers on my 6.5 grendels with out any issues. I have a 18' AA arms barrel that came over gassed and wouldn't function. I installed a Adam Arms gas system and it run's perfectly. Hope this helps.

I absolutely LOVE my Spikes Sp1. The best single item i have installed on my rifle. It took away thatawful twang of the regular buffer and it slowed things down to where my brass doesnt fly into the next county. It was like 35 bucks or something... For the money, the very very best upgrade to my AR, without a doubt.
I want one on all my ARs!!! it just makes the rifle feel so much more SOLID!!! i cant say enough good about it!
