Anybody tried one of thier barrels. I was thinking of changing out my 16" for a 18". Looking for some reviews on thier grendel barrels.
I hunt with mine 90% of the time and trying to drop some wieght, looks like a good option.

I've held some of their 5.56 guns with the carbon fiber barrels, and they seem very well-built, and are extremely lightweight.

I could be mistaken, but I think they wrap barrels that are actually made by someone else to a specific profile. Seems like there might be more than one supplier, but I think Satern has supplied them with 6.5G carbon-ready barrels in the past. I wouldn't be afraid to buy one if a lightweight setup regardless of price was the goal.

Havent got the price yet but they do offer barrels by themselves. I'm sure they will be pricey, but should make a good light weight rifle. Just wanted to make sure I didnt spend abunch of money to have any type of chambering issues.
Did a search here havent come up with nuttn, ifn I did it right that is.

I was thinking $800+, but this link seems to indicate $1200 for an AR-15 barrel:
