I'm looking for some data for 85gn and IMR 8208XBR? Any suggestions?
Anyone loaded Sierra 85gn bullets with 8208XBR?

You probably already saw this, but a safe starting load would be 29gr, which Hogdon lists as a starting load for the Sierra 90gr. That's where I would start, but I'm cautious with new loads. Given 8208 liking lighter bullets in the Grendel, I bet you could work up a stellar load for that particular bullet/powder combination.

You can go with 8208. It is a very accurate ----and---- clean powder !! I shot 110 grn. TSX, and 112grn. Interbonds with 29.0- 8208., = 2660 zone- and the primers were wimpy-safe., room to grow. On those 85-90 grn. units, You can bump up a bit-- try 29.8 as a start point- then, idle up..,but,,,. Below 95 grn. ,. the 8208 seemed to lose it's punch- it equaled x-term, down to the 85 grn. GMX's I shot. I basically loaded x-term and 8208 same -as- ., from 85-120gr.,, 8208 cranks it up once past 105 gr.- then gains -100 fps.- on the 110-120 class,, haven't tried it on any of the heavies yet, and I probably won't, -my rifle likes the lite- to-mid wts. I have some 105-115 Inters., and a few more tries on the GMX-in 100-105grn. class, all with 8208. Try AA's load data on the 85 sierras=benchmark= ( maybe my new lite powder)- it's about 2900 fps. ? Mseric peaked my interest in IMR 3031- we'll see, next spring.
