Whelenon, how soon do you need it? I'm about to replace my mid-length AA Mk-10 with a rifle length Mk-10. When the rifle length gets here, I'll have a lightly used Mk-10 with the new barrel nut available.

I'm in no hurry at all, so yes I'm interested. Is the Mk-10 composite lighter than the alum tubes? PM sent.

Also, do you know if cerakote will adhere to the composite handguard. Eventually, I want to cerakote my handguard OD Green.

I can't answer the cerakote question definitively, but I would think it would adhere to the composite. The Mk-10 is definitely lighter than the aluminum tubes. I really like the Mk-10, I just want to ditch my railed gas block for a low profile and extend the Mk-10 over it (rifle or extended length handguard). Since this particular rifle is for hunting, I really don't need the railed gas block (JPE).
