  • 100 grain Scenar length?

I vaguely remember this bullet being reviewed on the old site.

I have the 108 gr listed as 1.3" and I'm wondering if they use the same jacket.

The 123 and the 108 do, I doubt the 100 does.

This is a good resource for bullet information unfortunately it does not include the 100 Scenar.

I went over to the PC and looked at a database that I made a few years ago, the length entered was 1.299. Wish I remembered where I found that number, I do remember that it took a lot of searching. Strange how hard it still is to find information on that bullet.

Seen these kills with the 155 Scenar? The pics start here and go on for several pages http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthr...pics/5013929/3 Check out the wide range of impact velocities. Looks like the empty tip folds and encloses/protects the hard lead core so it acts kinda like a mono bullet retaining it's weight. Might tumble too, kinda hard to say since not one had been found even on elk.

Sure would like to see similar results with the 100g or 108g in 6.5mm.
