The Poles and Czechs have introduced some new assault rifles based off the Magpul Masada and FN SCAR. You'll see the resemblance immediately. I played with the Bren 805 (Czech) at SHOT, and was actually impressed with it.

LRRP, did you ever get to look at Beretta's new assault rifle? Just wondering what your impressions were if you did.

Yes, I played with the Beretta ARX-160 back in 2010 at SHOT, and it feels way too bulky, and I don't like the opening for both ejection ports that would invite a lot of debris into the receiver. If you look at how high the handguard is compared to the top of the weapon, it is very unwieldy.
