I'm building one(my first) for whitetails and coyotes, waiting for the barrel(18" 1-8 med-weight). How did you set up your second 65G? Any recommendations? -
16" J&T upper on a Cav-15 lower. Currently with an Eotech, but I'm looking at a Burris 1-4. Most of my shots will be well within 200yds. It's light and handles quite nicely. For the eastern woods I hunt i think it'll be just about perfect.
I hesitate to give advice for your setup. I've only been hunting about 4 or 5 years and as such I've got a lot to learn myself. I focused on building a reliable accurate rifle that I wouldn't mind carrying all day. We'll see how it turns out come next season.Comment
