I started out in High Power, but because of the heavy coat (and having suffered heat stroke 20 years ago) I was unable to shoot in the hotter months. So, I moved over to F-Class. recently I found a lightweight shooting shirt with all the padding of the shooting coat, but much cooler.
So, I went to the range yesterday to try it out with one of my Grendels. In our FPR matches we allow optics, so I was shooting out of a sling in prone position, but with a Leupold 8.5-25x50 scope.
2 fouling shots, then 10 in a row (2 sets of 5 with a mag change) at 100 yards.
AA 20" Hunter upper
Templar Consulting lower
RRA 2 stage trigger
PSA LPK
120 SMK
30.2 grains of AA2520
Mag length
2600 fps
I think I will have few problems hitting that 6" X-ring on the prone target at 600.
The .223 holes circled were from a friend who was there with me.

thats a nice group. I have a 5.56 20" er that will do close to that, I hope my grendel will if I ever get it going. I dont think youll have any problem at 600.
