  • Grendel Build, waiting for a barrel

This will be my first AR, building a Grendel and everything is going fine except waiting on an 18" barrel. Looking forward to getting out to the range once the snow is gone. My primary use for this gun will be Whitetails and Coyotes.

Anyone recommend a good deer bullet, I'm told the 129 Hornady SST would do the job.

I use the Barnes 120 grain TSX 120 grain myself. Good shock value.

I plan to use the Nosler 120 gr Ballistic Tip when I finish my build. It's never failed us in .260 Rem.
