After a couple of conversations with Wrapped I have ordered a WCI brake from AA, very pleasant purchase and a week later a had it in my hands.
My first impressions were of well designed, build, and finished product - good job!
Today i went to the range to try it. First shooting a Sabre defence bbl without it 9 rounds in to 3/4" group 1/2" off center at 9 o`clock.
Second shooting: 30 rounds with WCI brake went in to one rugged hole about 1" group 3" lower and the same offset as first shooting at 9 o`clock.
I was surprised to notice less muzzle flip compared to JP tactical comp. and much, much less concussion blast and noise.
Great product and it is working as advertised.
Vasko.

Thanks for your confidence and patronage, I believe the best advertisement to be those who own one or use one for duty.

30 rounds into a 1" group is damned shooting as well and is what is found when used on the M4/MK18mod0/other derivatives and it tightens groups on the MK46/48
It just plain works, I have not found anything it does not work well on except the M2HB because it takes too much recoil out.

I must be doing something wrong. Maybe I installed the brake backwards or something, but I fired my WCI braked grendel at a hog this wekend before putting my earpro on and Ive had ringing in my ears for 3 days. Quieter? Not in my experience.

Mine is much less obnoxious than any brake I've seen otherwise. Definitely much better than any tank style brake.

Can I also say it looks cool? ;)

Sure but I have to tell you it just came out that way due to functional design.

Hard surfaces or a flat surface like a building or structural blind?
Rocky areas walls and anything that will reflect it back can be a problem.
In lush areas or heavy snow in the winter it seems more quiet.
As for compared to others it does have less decibels, however the pressure wave propagates like a truck inner tube shape.

The WCI brake I used did noticeably reduce recoil, but even without any type of muzzle device installed, my ears ring like the dickens if I shoot without ear protection. Any device that directs the gas anywhere but directly to the front of the rifle will make noise even worse. The more gas diverted, and the more that gas goes toward the shooter, the worse any noise will be, regardless of type of device.
Because sound waves are just compression of the air, the more the muzzle blast compresses the atmosphere around the rifle, the more sound (noise) there will be. Like they say, "There is no free lunch."

Just figured how to post pictures. Here it is:

first had to verify how the bbl was shooting, than install WCI brake and shoot 20 rounds, split times 1.8sec average, reload and shoot 18 rounds, split times 1.2sec average

Considering you used a chrome line bbls, were shooting as quickly as you did and a couple slaps on the trigger, that is a very small group.
Are you left handed?
Also how much torque do you have on the bbl nut?

The bbl in question is a Sabre defence 20" competition special not chrome lined. I`m not left handed, torque was guesstimated by me during the building of the rifle.
About two years ago I have rolled down the land slide about 45 yd with an ATV while the rifle was strapped to the rack, extensive damage to the scope the magazine, dislocated shoulder and thumb for me... After the fact i have noticed bullet marks on the exit hole of the gill brake and decided to replaced with one of yours, smart decision...
I am really happy with your product, good job Sir.
Vasko.
