View Thread : AR30 in 6.5 Grendel?

Alternate calibers was brought up on Armalites Industry forum at AR15.com in regards to the AR30 platform.
I suggested an AR30 in 6.5 Grendel which I think would be a perfect cartridge for a mid weight AR30 platform.
What's yalls thoughts?

I believe the best platform is the Remington 30 RAR. Reason is it's an AR 15 with an AR 10 size bolt and barrel extension. That means is could easily handle the higher 6.5 Grendel pressure and the round would really perform from the AR without bolt breakage worries.
