18" Make-over

I've made quite a few changes to my 18" Grendel, so I figured it was time for some updated pictures.

I'm still trying to decide between two scopes. The Mueller 3-10x44mm TAC II (pictured) or a Falcon Menace 7.5x50mm fixed power scope. Whichever ends-up going on the rifle for good will get a JP one-piece mount.

I also had a Sabre gill brake on it, but I'm looking at other options for a muzzle device. After reading the thread on accuracy issues with flash hiders and brakes, I'm reluctant to put anything on it.

Anyway... That's what it looks like (now).

Very nice. I haven't seen the Falcon 7.5x, but I have the Mueller TacII. It's a nice scope for the price. If you like the Falcon you might want to check out the WOTAC scopes. I have two of their 4-14x and they also make a fixed 10x with a smaller objective for about the same price as the Mueller TacII. If you're interested they are at www.sightwonders.com

It's an 18" AA barrel.

I've been checking out the WOTACs for a while, but I'm becomming a pretty diehard Falcon fan. I have the 7.5 fixed, two 4-14 FFPs and a new 5-25 FFP. I'm just trying to decide if I want the fixed power scope or the variable TAC II on there.
