New to the forum and getting ready to finish my 6.5 build. Have the mega billet upper and lower (upper has side charge). It's in 5.56 now but am going to switch over to 6.5 Grendel. I have a Rem 260 now and its an awesome round. I will use this 6.5 to replace my 260 (have to reduce the herd). I am looking for input on which barrel to get the cut rifling or the button rifling. I won't be shooting matches with it but I will be shooting whitetail, axis, and pigs out to 300 yds. I am trying to keep the overall length of the gun to normal as I am carrying it in the jeep. Thoughts, opinions are appreciated.
