Giday hm2clark just touching base on your use of BL-C2 Garry.
My 527 Grendel barrel is indeed a 6.5 Grendel. Maybe..... It was suposed to be a 6.5 grendel from Walther. Then shortly after I got the rifle AA stoped reconising Walther as a 6.5 Grendel suplier as the chambers were out of spec. So it says Grendel but who really knows. I also have a remington chambered in 264 LBC by Pac Nor. Both are about as accurate out to 300 yards.Neither I nor most ammo can tell any difference. I have a MGM barrel on a encore that says "Grendel" on the barrel ...but again AA says they are no longer a grendel suppplier... I know I have 2 Grendel uppers on ARs, my bolt actons are more accurate and more versitile. I say stop thinking and act! You cant go wrong with a 6.5x39. Just make sure the barrel is short enough and thin enough for the girls.
Greetings, I'm about to start the Grendel 527 ball rolling for a light weight carry rifle and something my 4' 11" wife and ever growing god-daughter can enjoy . I've been in contact with the CZ custom shop and I'm told since the 6.5 Grendel trademark has not been relinquished yet, at least not officially, that for now they can't chamber for the Grendel. I was wondering if your 527 is in fact a Grendel chamber or perhaps an LBC chamber? I don't think there's a hill of beans difference between the two but I'm antsy to proceed. Can you share your chamber information and opinion on an LBC chambered bolt gun? TIA, Will
