I get a "special birthday price" this week of $22.23 at Midway - but I already have 1300 123 gr AMAXs in inventory, although bought at a much higher price. For some reason it won't give me the additional discount on the SST, which I attribute to it already being on sale, although the AMAXs are on sale as well. So, do I search through Midway and see what else I can buy in the next two weeks, while I have the birthday discount? Yeah, "free shipping" only applies to FULL PRICED items or those that do not have a unit purchase restriction. It's tough to get a really good deal (like combining sales prices with additional discounts) at Midway. And despite Midway's claim of "lower shipping costs" which they promoted a few months ago, I have found their shipping prices to be high compared to the actual cost to ship - it's definitely a profit center for them. Despite still buying a lot at Midway, I find that they are now my #3 or #4 choice because of their shipping costs. I have an Amazon PRIME account and other than reloading components (which they don't carry) the "delivered to door" cost is often cheapest on Amazon.
