Holy Moly. 2833 is STOUT! My barrel is a 24" Underground Tactical, so I'd imagine we'd have similar results. That is great news, brother man. Thank you for posting!

That should be about right - many calibers/rifles see about a 25-30 fps gain (or loss ) per inch of barrel length in the 20-26" inch barrel range. So, at 4" shorter than Cory's barrel, 100 fps slower is right on the money. I just bought a box of the 100 gr TTSXs and I think I'll try working up to that load and see what I clock in my AA 24" barrel. Glad I saw this post.
My "6.5" = 24" AA Overwatch upper 1/9 twist, NC based US Tactical lower, standard A4 6 position stock, AR Gold Trigger, JPS SCS buffer, Vortex 6-24 x 50 FFP PST with EBR-2C MOA reticle

Love Barnes bullets I won't use cup and core bullets to hunt with any more, that being said they are way to expensive to punch paper at least for me I use 108gr lapua scenars to practice with close to same poi as Barnes and HALF THE PRICE

Here's my results from a ladder test Friday with 8208 xbr 16" Precision Firearms Bartlein Barrel.
                  29.4gr 2647fps
                  29.7gr 2673fps
                  30.0gr 2683fps
                  30.3gr 2759fps
                  30.6gr 2726fps
                  30.9gr 2729fps
                  31.2gr 2762fps

I'm a pretty sure 6 hit somewhere right above 5. This was at 200 yards.

I have some that I'll be working up a load for as well. Cory, are you settling your powder with the 30.6gr and higher loads? You can use an ultrasonic toothbrush or your case tumbler to vibrate the powder into a deeper settle in the case.

Actually yes I have been doing that with my tumbler, since variable suggested I try that with ablr loads.

That's perty! You couldn't ask for any better expansion.

                          100gr or 120gr?
                          Muzzle Velocity?
                          Range of the shot?
