Picked up 10 boxes yesterday and hope to get out to shoot some of it this weekend. If its anything like the 556 PPU, I'd be happy with it.

I picked up a box of this last weekend at a local Cabela's, have not shot it yet, but finding Grendel ammo on the shelf on any kind is nice. I hope it shoots good, will post results soon. ( I hope)

I'm guessing this is the exact same as Wolf 120, since it was made by PPU.

I'll let you know tomorrow. I have one box of each and I'm planning a little range trip tomorrow.

Fired about 20 rounds of PPU today out of my 12-inch Grendel and accuracy was pretty good. I should have measured the groups but was pressed for time. I was getting 1 to 1.5 MOA out to 100 yards (which is about what I've come to expect from my rifle with a 5x scope), and easily hit my 8 and 10 inch metal gongs at 150 and 200. Overall nice practice ammo i'd say, but would not lot the bolt back on the last round. I fired about 10 rounds of Hornady behind it for comparision. Accuracy was about the same but perhaps slightly better, and could feel it recoiled with more authority and did hold the bolt back on the last shot.

I usually run an H2 buffer in mine and swapped out with a standard carbine buffer and it still would not hold the bolt back.

Fired both PPU and Wolf this weekend. I didn't have my chrony out so I cant really say if its the same load. The brass and the bullets appear to be the same. Both shot well but the best group of the day was with wolf.

I picked some of this up last week and it does appear to be the same as wolf. I was shooting around 1.5 MOA with both out of my 18" BHW barrel.

I picked up two boxes of this at Cabelas. Loaded up a mag at 125 yards. I shot two groups of 3 rounds. Both groups measured well under an inch(actually think this is more accurate than factory Hornday 123 g AMAX out of my rifle). First round I had a failure to eject. The sixth round I had a failure to eject and I found the primer was completely blown out. After this I was done and just used my reloads(28 g 8208 xbr). My rifle has a 24 inch barrel, rifle length gas system. Anybody else have issues with this ammo?

Were these PP 120 MPT? If so, they are super mild loads. Milder than your 8208 loads,

Not surprising if it were the old 123 grain Wolf soft points. The brass with that stuff (along with the bullets and loads) was pretty poor in quality.

Am surprised it was the PP 120 MPT. Although the loads are very mild, I don't think anyone else here has blown primers with them.

Not sure what in a rifle would cause blown primers in that particular ammo. I would tend to say it was the ammo this time.

Welp, I hate to say it but the 120 mpt wolf ammo (which we suspect is the same as the ppu) shot better for me at 750 yards than the precision firearms ammo loaded with the 130gr berger hybrids. For sure some of that was me, I was not disappointed with how the 130s shot, just surprised the wolf shot so well.

I shot the PPU 120 grain HPBT ammo. I have shot over 150 rounds of the steel cased 100 grain Wolf ammo with no issues. Both rounds use a large rifle primer. I just had issues with this ammo for some reason. And when I see that the only thing left in the chamber was a bunch of black soot from a blown primer I, get a little concerned. My rifle is a standard AA grendel chamber.
