    Busted By Piglet Sounder

We went back down to the oats property where we have shot several hogs to demonstrate our gear to some of the family coming in for July 4th festivities. Afterwards, we hunted with a father and son who had a rifle with a Pulsar N750 digital NV scope. The son was 13 with some hunting experience, but got a little excited when we got into the hogs (finally) and snicked off the safety with a bit too much force. The piglets immediately reacted.

We suspect that we took out the mother of the piglets on Monday.

Well the young hunter learned a valuable lesson. I'm sure those piglets will be back.

Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.

Careful selector manipulation while on ambush is a lesson I learned before even joining the Army. It was covered in the various LRRP books written in the 1980's. You place sideways pressure against the selector as you slowly rotate it when in position.

Thanks for posting this. Better to learn it now than when it's for real.

Yeah, I use the sideways pressure method and move the selector slowly.
