    Rifle range in Fortlauderdale

Was not sure where to post this.... Admin please let me know if I need to move it.

Live and shoot here in Central Florida. Being a bit lazy and looking for some help!!

Will be spending a lot of time in Fortlauderdale over the next couple of years. ( Not moving home! ) Want to join another PRIVATE club in the Lauderdale area with a minimum of 100, 200 and 300 yd ranges. (Longer would be better)

    Where do you suggest??

      Here is what I suggest.

Florida has a Rifle and Pistol association of some sort. It may not be called that but if you run a search using 'Florida Rifle and Pistol Association', something will come up that has a listing of gun clubs that cater to competitive shooting. I say 'competitive shooting' because normally it costs a lot of money to put in a range longer than 100 yards and most clubs that have something longer than 100 yards sponsor some sort of rifle competition. May be Rifle Silhouette, may be High Power but probably some sort of competitive venue.

So, Google it and you will find what exists.

Markham Park would be your closest shooting range:

Next one (farther) would be the Palm Beach Sheriff's Rifle Range:

But the best of them all would be the Okeechobee Shooting Range (best facility ever):

if you want to get out too 1K this club has daily rates at 20$ for the day extra 5$ for the 1k but all other distances are just the daily fee. They are working on the 1 mile range.
kinda a drive for you but have meet many folks that come over for the day from the east coast.
