      Google is like an ass hole, everybody has one, from the Kreiger (may have been somewhere else) sayin you need 100 shot break in because, well it takes 100 shots off an expensive barrel and over time i sell more to more realistic and reasonable reasons. I can understand none for Melonite and clear, but as does makes sense, well some of them atleast.

        I clean the barrel after each shot for five. Ten on a cheap barrel. Then clean after every five. After 20-25 rounds, I call it close for ME! i usually notice a difference cleaning on shot four or five. Takes less patches.
        I have also called a couple of barrel manufacturers and asked about breakin, I was told they lapped it, so go ahead and enjoy .

          I think it depends on if it was lapped or not. I called on my Lothar Walther and they said just shoot it.

            Shoot it and check for fowling if none you are good to go. BANG BANG!!

            At least that is what the barrel guys say.
