WTS custom build 6.5 Grendel with Nightforce

Here is a gun I spent a year assembling. In my state with all the new laws it's just getting to hard to own any AR-15 style rifles. I'm sticking with bolt guns. I have over $5000 into this build no expense spared.
NEMO Arms matched billet upper and lower
JP Enterprises 22" barrel with head spaced bolt,JP low mass bolt carrier, JP silent capture spring.
Magpul PRS, Nightforce NXS high speed zero stop 3.5x15x56, Nightforce unimount, atlas rear monopod.
    Jard 1.5lb Trigger
There is more send a PM or call with any questions. this gun probably has less than 100 rounds down the tube all factory hornady match 123 amax. Gun shoots half MOA all day.
Trying to figure how to post pics pm me with email I can send you some in the meantime
    Thanks Josh

I am sad to hear that you are moving away from AR's because of the unconstitutional laws. I know that you have a lot of money invested and you aren't getting the use you'd like out of it, but you may want to consider putting away an upper and lower FCG and BCG for a rainy day later down the road when you want one but they are hard to get. You could get all that for under $250 if you look around.

Also sorry to hear you're abandoning your Grendel because of idiotic measures. I hope California's laws get reversed in the not too distant future. Pushing back against Newsome's ammo tax and background check this November is especially important. Maybe after things have been banned for 10 years and no drop in crime happens, calguns and the NRA might stand a chance. But most of the voters there are just plain loonie.

The ignorance surrounding an ammo purchase background check is scary. I've heard many people initially react saying "Oh that's a good idea.", thinking it will somehow prevent crime. But when I explain that means each and every person firing a gun must purchase their own ammo, they start to think about it a little more. Can't take a friend or spouse to the range for lessons unless they buy their own. Can't share at the skeet range. Have to drive long distances if you don't live near a store, etc. etc.

I even had a local guy react as described above here in Dallas last week when I brought up part of the good reasons to live in Tx. People just don't think of consequences, especially when it affects something that THEY'RE not into. Oh, but tell them they'll have to pay a carbon tax on a pair of skis (ski resorts cause pollution and wildlife habitat destruction, you know), or on dirt bikes or motor boats, or register to buy a barbque propane tank (weapon often used by terrorists), and they think that's ridiculous. How about a thumbprint background check every time you buy gasoline or any other dangerous substance?
As baby boomer native to that state, I have come to hate the politics in general there. Can't wait to watch them go bankrupt and have to get bailed out by the Feds. For all their strict gun laws, Stockton is one of the most dangerous cities in the country. Shootings and/or kidnappings every day. A 3 year old was killed while in a moving car last week by some gangsters who were shooting at someone else. They don't even prosecute for shoplifting. No money for cops or courts to do that. Meanwhile due to their politics, they create and attract more miscreants every day.
Sorry for the rant...I love the state but the political trends there make me feel like puking.

Yotekiller, hold on for a bit. "Featureless" solutions will be hitting the markets in waves over the next 2 years. Few people will register. We are not seeing a plethora of ARs being shed by Californians yet. There will have to be a better accommodation than what is currently planned. I'm sure you're on top of calguns.net

If you haven't already signed up with them, do so ASAP!

Same for Ammoguide.com even it is only a "free" subscription. Mike also sends updates important to California gun law development.

Getting on the NRA-ILA mailing list is a good thing. Their "Take Action" link makes communications with elected official at the state and zfederal level much easier.

Yes, indeed. Sign up at calguns.net, and if you can, donate $10 to their financial org which is listed on their site. Calif. sets the stage for the rest of the country, so it is relevant to all of us.

Seems like I've spent more on donations to them and the NRA in the last few months than I have on guns and ammo! Guess that means I need to break the piggy-bank and acquire some hardware.
