LeHigh Defense and Cavity Back Bullets ordered.

Just ordered 100 95 gr lehigh defense and 50 each of the 105 and 118 Cavity Back Bullets. Once they arrive and I manage to do some load dev on them will post results on web. If anyone is loading them with CFE 223, ARComp, Lever, Varget or AA2520 please let me know what has worked well for you.

All I've tried with the 118gr Cavity Backs is AR-Comp. My final load was 27.9gr at 2.265 COAL. Keep in mind that was a very compressed load, enough so that it was starting to deform the ogive of the bullet. A VLD style seating stem would be optimal when compressing to that level

I got one for my 6.5 creedmore, will see if it works in the grendel dies thanks. I could use JB Weld and a paste waxed bullet to make a custom seater I suppose. Similar to bedding an action.

There is load data for the 95gr Lehigh CC in 2nd Print of Volume II.

Joe did testing with CFE223, H335, and TAC, all from an 18" barrel.

33.0gr was the start load with CFE, 34.8gr was the max, using a CCI 450 primer, 2.260" COL, SAAMI chamber.

Lucky day the cavity back bullets arrived as did 500 rounds wolf. Will measure and give specs on cavity backs soon
