    Hornady 123 eld match / black accuracy ....anyone

    Just built me a new 6.5 grendel and i have had excelent accuracy with both 123 amax and sst, ive read up on the new heat poly tip thats heat resistant tip. Has any shoot these new ammo.ive read on other forum they hit a little high any info is greatly appreciated thanks in advance .

    Hornady has a good reputation.

    No matter what anyone says, the only way to know for sure if your rifle likes any ammo is to buy a box.

        They hit high? LOL. You mean with the higher BC, they fail to drop as much over distance, don't you?

        Everything else being equal, the bullet with a higher BC should not drop as much as a bullet with a lower BC.

          I shot the Factory ELD and the Amax both at the same 200 yard target last week in the wind.

          Both grouped in a 2" circle, 5 shots each, 10 shots total.

          Couldn't tell a difference between them at all in that rifle.
