140 grain Sierra Gameking water jug test

So I set up four water jugs in a row on my 100 yard range, went back to the bench and sent one through three jugs with the fourth retaining a bullet that had separated into jacket and core pieces weighed together at 114.4 grains. I should add that bullets often separate in water tests as they come to a stop. In this test the first three jugs were destroyed, the third being torn asunder instead of just split as with the AMAX test. Four jugs is pretty good penetration. The load being 29.0 grains of LVR using the CCI450 primer. I suspect velocity is in the 2300 fps range.

I was using a HOWA Mini HB, 20 inches of barrel and the COAL is 2.28. I was actually able to reach the lands with this bullet and fit the round in the magazine.
