      Looks good.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, perfection would be making the boat tail longer by grinding off...oh...two more grains.

      : )

I only made 1, after taking a few measurments it didn't realy seem worth the hassle, it is not much shorter than a 123 cc profile, it has a verily long bearing surface as it was sized down adding a boat tail via chucking it in a lathe would help with that but then the jacket would be compromised which kind of defeats the point of using the accubond as the base, I think its about the same size as a 120 balistic tip

Based on this one arbitrarily experiment I think a Grendel specific accubond would need to be in the 100-105 wieght range to be a worthwhile venture

this was more of an excersise in can it be done than should it be done there are plenty of good options out there but should there ever be a lack sizing down is an option

ms, Iv'e taken them down to 100, 112- seemed about right . I was just sent some ABLR 129 units from k280. The only one that I made so far is a 110 version.

The jacket does not separate if lead shows at the base. The lead is kinda soft, the bonding is ok.
The Interbond is the bulldozer of the bonded that I have tried -so far. Have not lightened the scirocco pill yet.

Nothing wrong with an attempt , that's how our nation was formed, twist rifling was found, etc.

BTw, I have honed the sst, down to 124, from 129= a nice long tail-all was fine.

Look out world--- I just bought a small lathe today.

I did not lighten that bullet, I sized it down from 6.8/270 I think the 6.8 100 grain accubond will be my next attempt but there will stil be a very short ogave and long bearing surface

              WOAH!!

Now you really deserve an attaboy. Good thinking.

One problem with the Accubonds tho, swaging down bullets usually defeats the bonding, bummer. I'd like to see em tested. Even if it does lose the bond it still might end up being tougher than the 100 BT.

              Carry on.
