    Double Boars

Got a hog at the start of the hunt on the way in and got one at the end of the hunt on the way out. Fun stuff.

Yeah, sorry Slappy about cutting you out of the curly shuffle on the first one. I was bummed out there in the stand when I found I had turned off the recorder. I made sure it didn't happen on the next one.

A buddy of mine who also records his hunts often laments how things were so much easier when all you had to do was just hunt. There is something to be said for that.

There is a LOT to be said for that. For family vacations and functions, I'm always expected to film or photograph because my pathetic cameras happen to be better than most of the other family members'. I end up in none of the shots, and miss most of the fun because I'm always behind the lens. My hunts, however, are thoroughly enjoyed because none of them are interrupted by dead batteries or lens caps.

Having said that, 00 spy, I can say most sincerely how much I (we) appreciate you taking the time to chronicle your hog hunts.

ETA: I'll bet that next time, you won't confuse the record button with the trigger.

Thanks! And trust me, given some of my previous vids, I am used to smart @$$ comments. As long as the comments aren't too unkind, I find some of them pretty funny as well. Some are actually helpful.

We all screw up in the field. A lot of folks just won't document it or won't show it. I have gotten some good comments from folks who have suggested ways to correct some of my problems. So now I tend to screw up in new ways instead of the same ways over and over again.

sure, a bit of shootus interruptus in the first vid, but considering the huge amount of great vids you've posted here, you're forgiven a few interruptuses. and your second vid? perfect and textbook. many many thanks, 00Spy.

If a picture is worth a thousand words then a video must be worth.... well, A LOT! Awesome video, Double Naught. I'm in an area of TN that has no hogs... yet but I do have family in FL that have started getting visits from hogs so I got to take my first one last year. Stalking hogs at night was a good time!

Being on the ground with hogs is definitely much more of a rush than being in the stand!
