I was hunting down in rocksprings, tx with some friends. I had Shota small shoat earlier in the day and decided to call into work Monday so I could hang out for another night (7 hour drive).
Well it paid off in sat in a ground blind that had deer on it when I walked in. One the feeder went off had 2 bucks, 2 does, and 2 fawns. Not really what I was looking for dou didn't pay any mind to them. Late on I had some axis deer come in just does and that ate every kernel of corn around then walked away. But before they walked away I finally decided to take a look at what was out there with my glass. And what thought was a little 6 was in fact the cull buck that my friend wanted to take the first trip down to the ranch.
I sent him a text but before he had responded all the food was gone....Soy decided to get out of the blood and go set the feeder off again. Well all the deer came back and as I'm watching and inspecting to be certain it is in gave that and deer to near 100% certainty. I finally get the text back close to final shooting daylight.
I wait for him to clear the other deer and the capsule feeder wait for him to get comfortable and turned just the right way for me. As I make my final adjustments to my optics I exhale slowly and squeeze the trigger.
The shot was spot on at 105 yards, using 123 factory sst, right in the neck as to not waste any meat. He fell immediately and expired nearly instantly.
It was my first attempt at taking a neck shot At a deer and I'm thankful that it was a clean hit center punch in the neck.

Sorry no pics of the little pig. But I'll tell the story.
I'm waiting for the feeder to go off and the blind is low and what appears to have a crown between the feeder and the blind as well as very high grass. Anyway the feeder doesn't go of on time is 15 minutes late so I decide to get our and take a look wea walk up and I got 35 yards away from the feeder and to my surprise there were pigs there.well I took aim at one and let him have it they all ran and scattered. I see the ones hit and he runs to follow the others full sprint 90* to my right I take another shot at him and not knowing if I shot two pigs or the same one twice it turned out to be the same one twice. It was a little guy not to much left of him after the grendel opened him up...
