    Texas Snow Yote

This was a lot of fun.

We got hit with a nasty snow storm here in north Texas. Schools closed. Businesses closed. Roads were terrible. So it seemed like a good time to drive out to got hunt. It only took me a bit over double the amount of time to drive out and even longer to get home, but it was worth it.

always love your PING, haha. I'm surprised there's still any hogs / coyotes left in Montague County, hehe

Sweet. What made the reticle look different? So are you stacking 123gr SST like bricks, because you are stacking animals carcasses to the sky.

On the reticle, it was supposed to be a crosshair, but for some reason the horizontal line didn't make it to video. Apparently, there is a problem between the recorder and the rifle scope where the signal sometimes glitches. I don't know why. This is a problem seen with various other scopes and recorders as well. Anyway, to show the aim point, I edited in the yellow dot so that the viewer would have some idea of where I was aiming. The singular vertical line isn't very helpful.

I now know that if I use this recorder, I need to be going with just the dot reticle and not using anything with horizontal crosshairs.

I have a second recorder that has no such problems.

Oh, and I really like SST ammo. It does a very good job consistently. I just picked up 40 rounds of Alexander Arms 90 gr. TNT ammo I hope to try soon as well.
