A Savage in 223 needs only the bolthead opened up and a grendel barrel put on. Once you have the parts in your hand it takes about 15-20 minutes to change everything out you just need a barrel nut...

Just raise the bolt and touch the trigger and the trigger unsets itself. Lower the bolt back down and you are good to go. No need to unload just unlock.
