I've got a stoner barrel. I'm either going to ream it or chuck it. Can anyone use those uni throaters? Or is that more of a smith thing?

I thought Er shaw made ar stoner barrels. Who does reaming for a Grendel? What does something like that cost? The gun shoots good with amax and 129 sst , so for how much I shoot it that's all I need....

I've got an ar stoner barrel. I had to get rid of some 123 noslers because they would lodge into the rifling. The amax was fine. To get the noslers to work I had to get my oal less then 2 inches....

The only problem so far is with the noslers . I've only tried 129 sst and 123 amax factory bullets. Before I make a dummy round I check the case to make sure it chambers. I learned that very early...

I didn't see the 2nd half of your post. The 129 sst at 2.260 will chamber fine, I then took the bullet out and put in a 123 nosler and wouldn't chamber til under 2in same case. Could be bad bullets?

The necks are .298 what is a "true" Grendel .300? This might be more of a bolt being out of spec? I don't see this being a safety issue do you? Thanks

My handload I think a starting load from hornady. My barrel is from midway says 6.5 Grendel bolt is also from midway.

I put the new Fp in and shot 3 hornady 3 hand loads (129 sst 27gn blc2). 1 of the hornady might be pierced or it's real deep. That has slight ejector marks. 2 of them have slight bit of cratering....
