Honestly, I'm could care less either way about the steel cased stuff. I didn't really...
When I saw the episode on Future Weapons about the Grendel I told myself I wanted one. After more research I decided to build one, mostly as a range toy but also for hunting and shooting longer...
The reason they list a rifle cut upper with M4 receiver as "OK" is that it will work, just like it would if the receiver had rifle cuts in theory. The preferred arrangement is always going to be a...
Pictures are worth a thousand words...so here ya go.

I would assume most barrels come with M4 feed ramps unless specified, but you might want to...
There's another thread within the past couple days on here with a picture and link to the Ross Schuler brake...that's the one you're looking for. ;) To me it's quieter than a flash hider (maybe not...
Mine likes those 120 BT's too...I just wish they were cheaper.
There's a lot of good choices out there. I know the WCI is popular here and I'm very happy with my Ross Shuler brake http://home.comcast.net/~MOA_Shooters/RossMuzzleBrakes.htm.
I can't speak for Bill, but this article might help answer that.

Welcome to the forum kiwi 1.
I hope that fellow you shot wasn't a friend, and I sincerely hope you meant Fallow. ;)
Another thumbs up for the Possum Hollow trimmer...cheap, easy, and effective. However, I trim Grendel brass on my lathe style trimmer since I don't have to do it as often.
The Dems keep weakening the bill in an attempt to pass 'something'. I assume their initial thoughts are so they can say they did it, and also because they know getting a full AWB will be almost...
OAL isn't typically an issue with 6.5G's unless using VLD's since most bullets will be close to the lands before 2.260. I'd say reliable feeding with our bullet is the primary concern.
Well, since DHS is buying up all the available ammo they know that the only people left with ammo are the reloaders...so now the target shifts to us.
Reid and Lautenberg are complete morons.
So, they really believe that terrorists (and other criminals) are going to apply for a permit before building an IED? I just wish one reporter would ask...
If bolts are going for close to $1200 I'll sell mine to the first bidder! ;)
Good looking rifle.
You're a better man than I am...no way I'd go to CT, DC, NY, IL, CO, or CA.
Any family in a 'free' state that you can leave your guns with? Who knows, after a good winter in the NE your wife...
Hopefully Obama calls for a ban on bombs.....
Thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected by this.
CCI 450's are very popular for reloading .223. You might want to rework your loads if you're at or near max but I doubt you'll notice any significant difference.
I'd contact the company that makes your trimmer, or check their website, to see if they have the .264 pilot (they should). I have the Lyman trimmer and had to order that piece separately.
