From what I've read you are obviously a skilled hunter! I do not believe that you would take an ill advised shot with any caliber let the Grendel.. I agree with the barnes or the Hornady 123 SST. ...

I'd like to hear others express as to what drew them to the Grendel when there are so many other calibers out there, old and new.

Kind of hard to tell but did you put that Barnes right on the shoulder? Bullet retrieved? Would channel or broken shoulders?

It seems to me, correct me guys if I'm wrong but flattening of primers is not always a sign of too much powder. I read it in here somewhere.
