Have a 24 inch Satern and the Hornady 123 A-max works so well out of it, I can't see any reason yet to bother handloading for it.

Size-wise, this is a pretty young deer. My son killed a big, mature buck the same evening that seems twice the size of this one. Incidentally, his buck was taken with a 6.5x55 in a Remington 700...
