I have found that cfe likes to run towards the high end of safe loads. I have good luck with 31.8 grains under a 123 amax. Recheck your load data amd go from there.

I have been shooting the grendel with just a target crown and its really not bad. I can still spot my shots even with my scope turned up. Try it without a brake and just a flash hider.

i had good luck with it in a ppu case. 28.6 grains with a 123 smk. in my 24" tube i was getting 2620. It was a tad warm in the summer but spring and fall it was a .5" load.
I am using cci 450s and hornaday brass.

im using 31.8 grains cfe223 with the 123 amax seated to 2.248. I had first round hits out to 900 on wednesday. 1k i missed a 12" target because i missed the wind call, but hit it with my second shot....
