I have a 7" that works just fine with Wolf steel case at about 1880 fps. It's over gased with everything else. The blast/concussion hurts when shooting from a covered bench even with hearing protection.

I also wonder if you'll be able to find a can that the manufacturer will warranty when used with a 6" Grendel barrel.
