Go for your accuracy node wherever that takes one within the operating pressure limits.

Thanks. That is what I suspected when I asked the question, but thought I might be missing something. I have been doing what you suggest for years 1st with a 9, then a .45, then a .223 and finally with a 6mm Grendel.

I need to be confident that the reason my bullets don't all hit where I want them to is because of how I shoot and read the wind, not because of my rifle or ammunition.

^^^ It is very humbling that way but also (for me) reassuring to know it is Mr Twitchy McTwitcherson behind the gun that is the issue and not the equipment itself..
