    New Flagship Rifle

Well, my chronic case of Black Rifle Fever is showing itself again! Here's a [very lousy] picture of my new Grendel (I swear, I can operate a firearm FAR better than an iPhone camera).. took me over 2 years of ordering/finding parts here and there while waiting on that Satern barrel. Anyway, here's what she's made of ---

    Satern 24" SS Barrel
Midwest Industries SS Gen 2 15" Forearm
    Umbrella Corporation Lower
    ALG Defense Combat Trigger
    SOTA Arms Upper
    FailZero BCG
Troy Ind Low Pro Gas Block
    Badger Ordnance 22moa Riser
    Vortex "Precision Matched" rings
    Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 SFP
    WCI Grendel Brake
    Harris Bipod

A couple better pics than the above, added 11/15/2015

So far with a 100yd zero, I have a consistent 0.3ish MOA group at 100yds and a 0.5 MOA (this was just a guess... measured 0.47 MOA) group at 200 with Hornady A-Max 123gr, and that is as far as I've shot as of yet.

Looks very nice, I bet the recoil is very mild on that rifle, looks like you've got a great shooter!

How are you liking that pistol grip? I've been considering one for my machine. Not too much a fan of the way they look, but betting it is comfortable.

It is overall a fantastic looking machine.

Thanks! I like the grip - it's comfortable and stable.

Thanks everyone - going to the range tomorrow to verify zero and take it out to 500yds. Will post results.

Nice looking - and obviously good shooting rifle. I sure appreciate the parts list - I'm in the process of building one and all the info helps.

Right on! That Satern barrel took 2 years to make/ship, so during that wait, I basically just took my time locating best prices and whatnot. That way I couldn't feel too bad about spending almost $3,000 at once!

                          Agreed.

Parts lists, barrel builder, scope maker (power and model)... all that info is really a big help to us Grendel gunner builders.

Nice rig. I am currently in month 8 of waiting for my Satern barrel. What chambering did you go with?

They gave me an original time of approx. 8-10 months. That was March of 2013 and I received it June of 2015. But I have no complaints about them whatsoever, and I understand sometimes things just take a bit longer than originally expected.

It is chambered Grendel II, heavy contour and bead blasted
