    Got Lucky Last Saturday

Only sat in stand for an hour -8:30 am., this guy walks up the trail by my stand.

I had to react quick- hit in the spine with a 77 grn. GMx @ 3050 fps. 21 yd. shot.

    Fell in his tracks.http://www.65grendel.com/forum/attac...4&d=1447529835

I put a few more pics in a new album- Deer 2015. I'll find some more pics to add.

With a head like that there will be plenty of meat behind it as well. Quick smooth reactions can make all the difference to the outcome.
It would be good if you could compare you light GMX at 21 yd to a shot out there a bit, but then a spine shot is curtains almost regardless of what you hit him with.

Thanks guys! It happened so quick that I never even got the blood pressure up-- 2 seconds, done deal. It took me a while to calm down afterward- to call Blade for assistance.

Bucks only hunting in our locale is tough. I was in cahoots with Jasmith for for a while now, his Hits program ?-- for lighter mono pills was the main reason to try this light of a Gmx.

He and I and a few others have been researching this thru pressures, accuracy , different powders, etc. Also some secret gel tests. Good to keep busy.

My fave Gmx is the 94-95 class.- same external size as a 100 TTSX from barnes.

So,,, I think this 77 Gmx would be perfect for southern deer, where they weigh a bit less than the 280 lb. live wt. deer I harvested. 95 for mid America, 105 for way up north, say Saskatchewan deer..

Yes I have trusted this bullet since 2009, I need no other for hunting.

My main goals have been achieved, I know the Gmx is the best, AND most accurate hunting pill out there- yet the 120 Gmx , for a Grrr needs it in a less wt. idea.
I will not go this lite again, even tho it did it's job.

Check my album for some entrance wound pics- it was impressive for that wt. Some may not like gory pics.,- be forewarned.

Hey, Lax Patrick, good luck in the hunt by heaters wknd. Witch Beatch in the ground blind , as an Igillo hoo hoo, did you choose ? I give up on tree stands this time of year= cold.

We go blinds, then walk stalk- sit walk, stalk some more- then back to warm up- hang till 4pm- out again for an hour. Good luck dude!
