Last week I got the Law Tactical AR15 Folding Stock Adapter Gen 3 for my current Grendel.
Today I wrote a review on the VTSupply site as follows:
"It works as advertised.
The metal work is of excellent quality.
Only one thing....I had to work on the retaining finger (half moon looking piece) with a grinding wheel (with the Dremel) because it was rubbing against the bolt carrier. I ground off maybe 1/16" and now the bolt carrier cycles freely again.
Would I buy another? No, for various reasons:
a) It is very expensive.
b) The width of the weapon once folded is very wide (bulky).
c) It adds a lot of weight to your weapon (0.66 lbs).
d) The bolt extension piece is heavy and that might change the balance between the gas pressure and the buffer weight.
Suggestions for improvement:
a) Make it of Titanium to reduce weight. The price is high enough to accommodate the price of Titanium material."
