          I always make plans for super fancy and expensive rifle builds, and then posts like this come along and I wonder "What would my rifle do better than this gentlemans rifle?" I'm not trying to say that your build is cheap, but it looks like it does everything you need and nothing that you don't.

          You have an awesome hunting setup there and it looks like you're shooting straight as well. Thanks for sharing.

            Maybe it's me but I shot a 7/8 bull elk in 06 and we never could get that meat tender nor was it that flavorable. We did it in a crock pot for several hours, pounded it with a tenderizer nothing. Was the bull too old? Should I try hunting a female?

              Great shot! Love seeing the 16" working as well. Hard to beat a little 16" ar for a light, easy to carry gun. Bullet seemed to perform flawless as well.
