Good Range Day

I had a pretty bad itch to do some long range shooting so I headed to the range early this morning. It was worth getting up early, as I had the place to myself for a while. I put down a very nice group at 300 meters right off the bat. Ended up deciding to try shooting in a couple positions that weren't bench rest or prone. I'm glad I did, it was a challenge to hit targets that are so routine from the prone position. Also tried going from the closest steel target to the furthest, which was 200 meters, 300 meters, 385 meters, and 500 meters. It was a lot of fun, just used the mil dot reticle to hold over, very quick!
