    If I were to pursue a project like this, machine & tooling cost would mandate high volume for sure. Swiss turning center with a set of roll form dies for final forme would be the best for consistancy from my perspective. As for material I would think a Gilding metal alloy would be the way to go. Suppose Hornady has the lock on Gilding metal alloy material? May wish to swage final diameter as well.

    Never tried anything like this though so I could be wrong.
