Sounds like the new ELD-X bullet.

Hopefully some Lehigh and ARX solids like they did for the Beowulf.

I would be surprised if it is the new Hornady ELD bullets. The 140 gr 6.5 is heavier than anything they currently load for the Grendel - the heaviest bullet they offer now is the 130 gr Swift. If it is the 140 gr ELD, maybe they figure the high BC out past 500 yards will make up for the lower initial velocity with the heavy a bullet. Side note: I got my first batch of 140 gr ELD Match in yesterday and will be making up some loads for my 6.5 Creedmoor, replacing the 140 gr Berger Hybrids at the same CBTO length and will compare the two. I get between 1/4 and 1/2 MOA with the Berger Hybrids - but unfortunately, my local range only goes to 300 yards - probably too short a distance to see a difference with the new Hornady tip.

Has anyone heard anything new about the Grendel ammo? I know AA is slow at times, but they kinda of have gotten better. Since back in the day they where known for being really slow.

Thanks for any update anyone might have, if need be you can IM me

Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.

Wonder if anyone would have an intrest in a lighter weight GMX bullet in the Grendel

Personally I would like to see a 90 to 100 grain GMX for a new projectile offering for the Grendel. Suppose that could never happen, as I am probably the only Grendel user that would go for the lighter weight GMX:-)

100 grn Barnes TTSX pills are deadly, I would love to see a 95 or 100 grn GMX factory load from someone.
