    My pet load to date:
    129sst, 25.9g of 8208, cci450 primer, 2.260oal.
I get good hunting accuracy with both my 14.5 and 18" barrels.

There is tons of data for it in the Reloading Handbooks, as well as in Hornady's 8th and 9th Editions.

I like CFE under the 129gr SST. 31.7gr is the max load for CFE223 under the 129gr SST with a SAAMI chamber.

You can typically load longer with this bullet as well.

Litz BC on it is much higher than Hornady's own, at .495 G1 and .247 for G7.

26.2gr is max with 8208XBR. You will get good ES and accuracy with XBR, but it is quite fast for this bullet, its weight, and it bearing surface. As long as you stay strictly within the max load after a work-up, you will be ok with XBR though.

Norma 202 is another good powder for speed. LVR is good as well.

Volume II has a bunch of loads for it. I would look there first.

Varget never really impressed me in the grendel. It will go bang for sure. Just anemic velocity. I don't chase the speed wagon, but cfe has been good with the heavy side.
Yard work is not an excuse!

I got very good accuracy with Varget and the Sierra 120 Prohunter bullet. Can't speak to velocities but accuracy was good.

The 129 SST is a great bullet. I used it as my heavy backup for years. Find the data on here. if not found - PM me.
