kinda depends on the budget and needs and goals of suppression, i would lean towards a qd model and as light as reasonable for an ar, that said yhm has some very wallet friendly options http://www.silencershop.com/silencer...ll&order=price
    Punctuation is for the weak....

Form one and build if u have the equipment. If not, get the best u can afford, cause it's forever. Inconel and titanium should be should b the main ingredients.

          Don't buy a Huntertown!!

Shoot alot, can take rapid fire
Griffon Armament recce 7 is 700.00
          YHM LT 762 631.00

Hunting Suppressor can't take alot of shooting without cool down
          Griffon Armament Sportsman 585.00
          Silencerco Harvester 30 545.00

If I know budget I can be more specific and these are online prices since you get gouged usually by local class 3's

12.5" SBR Grendel - Need Barrel
          Surge - Rugged Suppressor
Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.

if you have hte money and time find a OSS suppressor, they are new technology and just plain work. Got to play with them at range day this year, they work well enough that HK is running them soley on all their suppressed rifles. They do not have baffles like a traditional suppressor.

Since they were not around when i was shopping i got a AAC 762SDN. works for my 223 through 308, QD and they have a brake/FH combo when not suppressed.

OSS is a 1500.00 can, I don't think that meets his requirements

Great question! Never a good answer. MY opinion only, Id look at the silencerCo omega, thunderbeast ultra 7 or 5. I have a AAC cyclone I use on the grendel and a blkout but its heavy. Iv heard my buddys omega on his blkout and grendel and its awesome. My ultra 7 is STILL in jail but I cant wait to hear in on the grendel. I wouldn't mind trying the TBAC ultra 5 out also. Just my opinion but I think the Omega will be hard to beat for the money for what you get.

Rugged Razor it cost less, it's tougher and if you put a flat cap on the Omega there both about same length. Not sure of weight.

Message me the best time to text you, want to get your advice on a couple of things. Thanks bro
