California on the march to take away our cherished Second Amendment

"Gun ownership is a constitutional bedrock. . . . We can't smash the 2nd Amendment into a million pieces and expect America to be as free and strong as it's always been." --- http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016...tcmp=obnetwork

This is more insanity from an insane state. I'm sure the terrorist and criminals will never violate gun laws or get access to forbidden firearms when they commit their illegal drug smuggling or terrorist activities. Gun prohibition worked so well in France. The lack of logic coming from many legislators in this country is not just getting worse it's getting spooky.

Everyone should watch the movie Idiocracy. The way things are going, it seems more like a documentary than a comedy.

Saw a picture of a sign on another forum yesterday. It said, "I wish the politicians were as interested in Budget Control, as they are in Gun Control!"

          It's not just California.

Hawaii wants to enter registered gun owners into a federal database.

Much of the California laws are either law or are proposed laws here in NY. After spending millions on putting together a database to do background checks and track ammunition purchases, it was decided that it wasn't doable and shelved. Owners of previously grandfathered standard capacity magazines over 10 rounds were required to dispose of them out of state or turn them in.

Some of the laws proposed for 2016 include only allowing ammo purchases for registered weapons, limiting ammo purchases to 3x the one magazine capacity for each weapon per month, micro stamping, serializing bullets, etc. There were several hundred new gun laws proposed in NY this year.

Never been a more dire time for gun owners. The Nov 2016 election is one that's probably never been so important. We KNOW what Clinton intends to do against guns. We know how she plans to overrun the Supreme Court with her kind, an action that will last many generations.

Trump certainly isn't ideal, but when it comes to guns, he's already planted his stake in the ground.

Never been a more important time for gun owners to visit the polling booth come November 2016.
If the Democrats had been in power when this country was founded, we'd be the British.

                Stan:

I removed your post for you.

You won't vote for Trump. We got it.

Either keep your opinions to the topic or go to a political forum somewhere that caters to people who are focused on creating and then sustaining arguments solely for the sake of arguing with each other.

Insulting Trump like you did with your picture is purely an incitement to get someone to argue with you.

                  Guys:

                  Closing the thread.

If you want to cite specific statements or policies from candidates that cite the 2A, go for it.

If instead you would rather argue the qualities of a candidate in general, go to a web site catering to political arguments.
