    What a great caliber!

New to the 6.5. Great fun for me to shoot, but absolutely perfect for my 7 year old. He has a 243, but never ask me to shoot it. He loves shooting the 6.5, and wants to shoot it all the time. He can hit an 8 inch plate at 250 yds 9 out of 10 times; 100 gr Amax, 30.5 H335, 2.24. That's pretty good for him. Just a great caliber!

Welcome and yes it is a great caliber. That is pretty darn impressive for a 7 year old. My 7 year old doesn't have the patience to actually aim. LOL he just like hearing the gun go BOOM.

yes the 6.5g is comfortable and fun to shoot and is considerably powerful for the low noise and recoil.
        welcome to 6.5!!
