Which bullet for long range and hunting?

OP, I purchased the same lee challenger breech lock kit you listed several years ago. I've loaded thousands of rounds through that press without any problems. It will get you up and running for a low price of admission. Have yet to shed a tear over the press

You will want to replace the scale rather quickly but everything else in the kit is serviceable.

I'd go with an RCBS trickler over the hornady. The RCBS seems to do a better job at dropping individual kernels.

The Lee trimmers are fine.
