wtb shot out 223/556 barrel

my brother has become very interested in an arrow gun and it got me thinking it wouldn't be a very difficult thing to build though i don't want to throw a lot of money at the project in acquiring an ar barrel to hack up and a shootout barrel or some how damaged would be ideal considering throat and gas port are irrelevant just need a chamber clean enough fro blanks and a few inches of straight barrel

i know there are some cheap 556 barrels available I'm just kind of hopping to minimize the cost of the novelty and considering i plan to cut down the dill out the barrel and weld a tube in the only critical parts are the chamber and barrel extension the rest of the barrel will basically get destroyed in the project

I've never shot out a 5.56/223 barrel ,I guess it is possible.Lotta 223 W.S.M. barrels out there that are shot out....like after the first 100 rds....
