I have been putting off the barrel hoping something starts gaining momentum somewhere, I am looking for an 18" though and that group buy is moving slower than the 20's. I am down to needing a barrel/FH and a stock...

I still need a scope and mount which will probably be a grand so I'm okay waiting on a barrel for now

BFT, I sent you an email for the redo 12 inch buy and would like to swap my funds for the 20 buy to use for the 12. Don't worry I'm still in on the 20, it just seems like I'll be getting the 12 at an earlier date.

I think PF's post about velocities they collected by barrel length have swayed the masses to shorter barrels.

I don't get the demand for the shorter barrels....for me, a 14.5" barrel carbine handguard is on the edge of being to short to shoot comfortably, and with about 700 miles of riding a snomachine wearing a 20" AR, not once did I think that the barrel was too long or unmanageable. I guess Short barrels are in fashion for now.....

Because I don't need a 20" barrel for anything inside 300 yards, plus when you throw a suppressor on a 20" barrel they become way to long for my liking.

We need a dealer to step in and help. Buy the rest and flip them for $250
Maybe I should find $7,000...

The 16" buy that completed took 9 months to fill up. Just send the checks and shop parts sales while you wait. These barrel stats are not available without spending a lot more money and still waiting.

I sent my check when I saw the thread. I expect to have it before next October.
